Alexander Ryan

Aerospace Engineer

Alexander Ryan is currently undertaking a PhD in Aerospace Engineering as part of the Applied Plasma Physics research group at Sydney University, and has previously completed Bachelor’s degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Physics. His PhD research involves Particle-in-Cell simulation of electrodeless plasma thrusters, and the development a novel helicon-based propulsion system for small satellites. Alexander has worked as an Assistant Project Manager at RPSPM, primarily as a construction project management consultant in the Government, Private, and Defence sectors.
