Mechatronics/Software Engineer

Tanvee Islam is a student at UNSW, studying a dual degree in Engineering (Mechatronics) and Computer Science. Tanvee is currently the Vice President at the UNSW Mechatronics Society which runs the UNSW Sumobots Competition, one of the largest robotics competitions held in Australia, with over 150 competitors each year. He tutors and demonstrates a number of Mechatronic Engineering and Computer Science courses, as well as working directly with the School of Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering to develop and improve course content. Tanvee has a wealth of experience designing, implementing and testing software in wide range of fields including microprocessors, flight controllers, cloud platforms, frontend design, and data analytics.
