Tom Dixon

Aerospace Engineer

Tom Dixon is a current PhD candidate in Physics at the University of New South Wales, with a combined bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering and Physics. He has worked as a Chief Technical / Executive Officer of UNSW’s undergraduate space research group on satellite sub-system design and ground segment development, as well as a summer researcher at the Mt Stromlo Observatory in Canberra designing latency detection for adaptive optics. Tom’s PhD work involves extensive modelling of Brownian motion at the nanoscale, with collaborations in the School of Mathematics at UNSW.
