July 2025 — Industrial Sciences Group (ISG) has launched an exciting collaboration with Ventia’s Defence and Social Infrastructure division to bring advanced predictive analytics into the world of infrastructure and asset management.
By adapting tools originally developed for space missions, ISG is helping Ventia forecast critical asset types and quantities for large-scale operations, starting with complex facilities such as hospitals. Assets include fire extinguishers, air-conditioning systems, gas infrastructure, chillers, alarms, electrical components, and more.

The initial focus is on the development of a prototype analytics tool that will predict the entire asset register for Northern Beaches Hospital in Sydney. This synthetic model offers significant advantages:

🎤 Industrial Sciences Group Takes the Stage at Ventia’s CEO Town Hall
On July 24, 2025, Ventia hosted a live CEO Town Hall event for more than 17,000 staff across Australia and New Zealand — both in person at their Parramatta office and online.
ISG’s Managing Director, David Shteinman, was invited as a guest speaker, sharing insights on the company’s work in space and defence analytics and how those same advanced tools are now being used to support Ventia’s asset management operations.

This partnership paves the way for future tools to be applied across hospitals throughout Australia and New Zealand, with potential extensions into defence sites, schools, and other major infrastructure projects.
