Ezra is a software engineer who admires the elegance of mathematics and its unreasonable effectiveness to help us understand our world. He finds great satisfaction when both of these qualities align in his work.

Ezra completed a dual degree spanning pure Mathematics and Computer Engineering at the University of New South Wales. His honors thesis focused on the design and testing of a novel micro-controller architecture aimed at enforcing fail-safe security policies for safety-critical digital systems, with applications in implantable medical devices.

Out of the many mathematical topics Ezra is interested in, he is most excited about Spectral Theory. He considers it an unlikely and deeply hidden intersection between linear algebra and calculus which has bestowed upon mankind incredible power to solve physical systems.

While Ezra isn’t learning, he likes hacking together projects with code, playing the piano, running, talking and teaching, and volunteers at his Church youth group.
